5th Annual Poster Contest
 

Theme:
How I Show Respect for Human Life

All schools are invited to hold a poster contest during the fall. Display your entries in your school and then send the top 3 posters from each division to the NCRTL Poster Contest competition.

Individual student entries are also welcome.

$100 Savings Bond for the Winner in Each Division: Grades K-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12.

Guidelines: Competition is open to students of all ages in grades K-12 enrolled in public, private, religious, and home schools throughout the state of North Carolina. Posters must be 8.5 by 11 inches on poster board, oak tag, or other similar paper stock. Drawings must consist of bright, bold colors using markers, paints, or crayons. Poster must be freehand and cannot include magazine pictures or computer-generated drawings. Words may be used. The poster must reflect an unequivocally pro-life position. (Pro-life means affirming that all innocent human life from creation until to natural death is precious and must be protected.) Each student's name, age, grade, name of school, parent's name, address and phone number as well as teacher's name must be typed or printed clearly on the reverse side of each entry.

Criteria: Winning entries will be selected on the basis of the relationship of poster to the theme, originality and clarity of expression, visual appeal and adherence to required guidelines. We reserve the right to disqualify any entry that does not observe these requirements.

Mail entries to : NCRTL, P. O. Box 9282, Greensboro, N. C. 27429-0282. All entries become the property of North Carolina Right to Life Inc. Entries must be delivered or postmarked no later than November 30, 2006. No C.O.D.s. Awards will be announced January 13, 2007, in Raleigh, NC at the 8th Annual Prayer Breakfast for Life at the Brownstone Hotel.
