Ashley
Ahlquist

Ashley Ahlquist was born and raised in
Bloomington, Minnesota. She is the second oldest of 6 children.
Presently, she is a senior at the Catholic University of America, with
a major in Political Science and a minor in Spanish. She interned
with the Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life in Minneapolis the
summer of 2006 and then with the National Right to Life Committee in
Washington DC the summer of 2007. She was a finalist in the Miss
District of Columbia Pageant for Miss America this past summer with a
pro-life platform, Providing Positive Solutions for Crisis
Pregnancies, (which caused a bit of controversy) but did not place.
She has also both attended and volunteered at the March for Life in
Washington DC for the past 3 years. (For G. K. Chesterton
enthusiasts, it is noteworthy that Ashley is the daughter of Dale
Ahlquist, the President of the American Chesterton Society and the
host of G. K. Chesterton, the Apostle of Common Sense, aired on EWTN
on Sundays at 9:00 p.m. EST.)
